ABOUT JON
Jon Belec is a lifelong musician, singer, audio engineer, and producer whose career has taken him from military bands to major New York recording studios and stages around the world. A graduate of the Armed Forces School of Music and former U.S. Marine musician, Jon later earned a B.S. in Sound Recording Technology and spent years at New York City’s legendary Hit Factory, working closely with artists including Rob Thomas, Matchbox Twenty, Jennifer Lopez, Carlos Santana, Luther Vandross, The Rolling Stones, and countless others.
That background eventually led to more than a decade teaching Music Recording Technology at the college level while continuing to record, produce, and perform professionally. His experience as an educator, engineer, and producer continues to shape the musicianship and attention to detail he brings to live performance.
Today, Jon performs as a vocalist and multi-instrumentalist on acoustic guitar, bass guitar, pedal steel guitar, and low brass. Whether performing solo, in acoustic configurations, or with full bands, the goal remains simple: great songs, played well, and a good time with the crowd.
